- Obtain a new anode and the special seal that goes around it.
- Place the new anode into the housing, ensuring the tapered edge of the sealing washer faces forward.
- Apply a small amount of Yamaha marine grease to help the anode sit smoothly into the hole.
- Use an 8mm socket to secure the anode back into place.
- Tighten the bolt using a 10mm socket, ensuring it is not too firm.
